The Software Developer will be responsible for building C# modules for an existing application platform (see this link for an example). They will be part of the Data & Information as well as Advice Department of ICES Secretariat, and will be supervised by a Data Systems Analyst and an Advisory Programme Professional Officer.

Terms of appointment
The appointment will be part-time (15 hours per week), in the period from October 2019 to June 2020. The hourly rate is 182.88 DKK and working hours/days, and the length of the contract can be adjusted to your university schedule.
ICES Secretariat staff enjoy privileges and immunities pursuant to the Host Agreement between the Government of Denmark and ICES. The salaries of ICES staff are exempt from Danish income tax and the salary for this role is at the “C7" grade, which is based on the United Nations common salary system.
Furthermore, a tax-free pension scheme is available, to which both the employee and ICES contribute. ICES Staff Rules set out the conditions and principles of employment and the responsibilities of the staff of the Secretariat.
