ICES Data portal gets an upgrade

ICES Data portal has been updated with new and improved features, as well as some bug fixes.
Published: 10 November 2014

ICES Data portal is a web interface that allows users to access, visualize, and download data for specific parameters, time periods, species, and geographic areas. Users can explore the data portfolio, navigate in the inventory, and browse or map the data.

Highlights from this upgrade include:

1) Direct download of data from the inventory listing

2) The development of a new map visualization (cluster map). Data are organized in clusters which get smaller here as users zoom into the map.

3) Users can query and download data in XML format
