Two new Identification Leaflets in library

Bacterial conditions known as furunculosis and francisellosis featured in the new publications.

​​​​​ICES Identification Leaflets for Diseases and Parasites of Fish and Shellfish (ID Leaflet) number 37 covers a bacterial disease called furunculosis that can affect wild and farmed members of the salmonidae family​ such as charr, grayling, salmon and trout as well as non-salmonid species.

Updated by David W. Bruno, the publication covers a range of information from the name and the causes through to control measures and diagnostic methods.

ID Leaflet number 64 is on francisellosis of Atlantic cod and is by Anders Alfjorden and Neil Ruane.​​
