Each year, ICES provides support for scientific symposia that contribute to our efforts to develop and share knowledge and expertise related to marine science.
We now welcome proposals for co-sponsorship of symposia taking place in 2025 and 2026 on topics that are relevant to our Science Plan, Strategic Plan, and/or Advisory Plan.
How to apply?
The first step is to contact our symposia coordinator including a 1-2 sentence summary of the scope of your symposium and a request for a resolution form for the proposal. Consult the Symposium Guidelines for Conveners to assist you with your proposal and submit this to the Secretariat by 1 February 2024.
ICES Science Committee (SCICOM) will review and approve symposium resolutions at its March 2024 meeting.
